Scout Accounts:

Scout Accounts are maintained for the benefit of each scout. The personal accounts are increased by half of the annual dues paid and half the profit from participation in fund-raisers, such as popcorn sales, wreath sales, and the Piggly Wiggly Cook-Out. Scouts may elect to use their accounts to pay for scout outings (camping trips or special events), camping equipment or items at the Troop Store. Troop 13 requires a receipt as proof of equipment purchases. A withdrawal from the account for a camping trip or event can be selected on the permission slips.

Dues:

Dues for Troop 13 for 2010 are $90 and are due by February 28, 2010. If paid by check, $45 would accrue to your son’s account. If you have a sufficient balance in your scout account, dues may be deducted from your son’s account. Please let know if you intend to pay or have dues deducted from the account.

Fund-Raisers:

Fund-raisers are special opportunities for your scout to earn money for his account. 50% of the net profits from fund-raisers are split among participating scouts.
