About Pack 98

Welcome.  Cub Scout Pack 98 of Johnson Creek is proudly sponsored by the Friends of Our School, at Johnson Creek Elementary.  You have probably come to this website to get more information on Pack 98 to possibly join, or are a current member and need to use one of the links on this page.  If you are a current member, thanks for using the page and for being involved with Pack 98.  If you are looking for information on Pack 98, let’s start here.

Pack 98 in Johnson Creek has been in existence since the 1960’s.  There have been many boys that have gone through Cub Scouts, on to Boy Scouts, and possibly became an Eagle Scout.  But all of them can say they were in Scouting.  What is Scouting?  The purpose of Scouting is many things.  Some of them include character building, spiritual growth, good citizenship, sportsmanship, family understanding, respect, personal achievement, preparing to be a Boy Scout, and most importantly, in my eyes, having FUN.  Our pack has monthly pack meetings, den meetings by age group, scout sponsored events through the Potawatomi Area Council, and pack events that we hold for the boys.  Some of the council events include Pinewood Derby Races, Scouting for Food, Blue and Gold Banquet.  Some pack events have included bowling, laser tag, museum tours, hiking and camping.  These are just some of the things that Pack 98 does.  So, what do you say?  Would you like to join?

If your son is going into grades 1-5 and would like to join or if you the parent have any questions, please feel free to contact us at the available link.
